NJ Transit Atlantic City Line Train #4673 Departs Philadelphia; May 7, 2011. I also happened to catch a New Jersey Transit train to Atlantic City departing on National Train Day. This one, ACL Train 4673, left at 12:00 noon. This train consists of Comet IV #5021 on the point and GP40PH-2B #4208 as the motive power. Man those Geeps are LOUD.
This train had a very friendly engineer who was chatting with a younger railfan; very nice guy at the controls, he waves to me.
